Washington, DC: Polygon Research is excited to announce that Garrett Hartzog will be serving as Head of Marketing and Business Development. In this new capacity, Garrett will play a key role in helping to communicate the benefits and use cases of Polygon Research’s suite of mortgage market intelligence apps, which make performing complex analysis as simple as a few mouse clicks in a browser-based environment.

“Our initial contact with Garrett was as a potential customer, having noticed his work analyzing housing policy issues in an engaging and approachable manner. By the end of our first conversation, we had agreed to work together and it’s exciting to begin a new chapter in our partnership,” said Lyubomira “Val” Buresch, founder and CEO of Polygon Research.

“During my first demo of the data available and the ease of use of Polygon Research’s platform, I recognized that this was something that people needed to hear about,” said Hartzog. “After working with Polygon Research for the past several months, I’m excited to be in a position to directly tell their story. Garrett is the founder of Fundamental Advisory and Consulting, LLC and will continue to apply two decades worth of industry experience to help his clients navigate everything from public policy to corporate strategy.

Previously, Garrett served as a Director at MGIC, working in both government relations and product development. He also served in the Office of Housing and Regulatory Policy at the Federal Housing Finance Agency. His career also includes time at Bank of America dealing with disputes arising from mortgages originated by Countrywide, and a series of roles at PMI Mortgage Insurance Company.
