Earlier this year, we collaborated with Vetted VA and AIME on a comprehensive analysis of the VA lending landscape. We used several open data sources to provide analytical input for the paper - HMDA, Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finance, and U.S. Census data. Open data sources are accessible by anyone; we provided methodology and analytics to organize the data and distill insights.
